The Australian International Islamic College (Durack campus) is one of the schools involved in this art project. A group of students (ranging from year 6-12) will be participating in art workshops led by the school's art teacher, Renee Hood (me!), and the project director, Magdy Shiha.
After meeting with Magdy, we decided that the best way to begin would be to practice creating collaborative art pieces through this blog. We thought this would be the best way for us to learn about each other as artists and also to get the students inspired by collaborative artworks before the workshops commence. So watch this space!
