Some of my students will be participating in this series of workshops as part of their subject learning and assessment where they must choose a focus of either time, place or space. This artwork is my attempt at a first development under the focus of place. I wanted to create an artwork which shows my connection to Australia. When I lived to the west, it was a country lifestyle, in comparison to my experiences with Eastern Australia which became progressively city-orientated. I plan to perhaps incorporate digital imaging software in further developments of this artwork, but I think this is a good place to start.
